HONOR FLIGHT POLICE & CORVETTE ESCORT PARADE

HONOR FLIGHT THE VILLAGES

Corvette Escort for Honor Flight Veterans

We need Volunteers to join the Sumter County Sheriff’s office, Fruitland Park Police and the Nomad Motorcycle Club to provide an escort for the, Honor Flight.
The date is Saturday, June 29th
The place is Colony Recreaction Center.
We will assemble at 1:45 pm at Colony and depart at 2:20 pm to escort the honoree’s bus from Colony Rec Center to the American Legion Post on Rolling Acres Road and 466.
We need a minumum of TWENTY (20) CORVETTE  owners to participate.  More, if feasible.

The vets will come out of Colony about 1:30pm when you can come inside and greet them . We will have plenty of time to return to our cars as the loading process is very slow. The caravan will then proceed from Colony Cottage, to 466A all the way up to 441, then up to 466 so we return on top of the Legion post.

There will be a homecoming ceremony when they arrive which of course you are welcome to attend. If any of your friends, neighbors are not riding in the corvettes the entertainment will start at the American Legion at 1pm and will consist of the Cheerleader, the Twirlers and others.  It will be held inside as the weather is to hot to perform outside.
