Corvette-Chevrolet dealer Harchelroad Motors in Imperial, Neb. and Corvette aftermarket parts and accessories manufacturer, Mid America Motorworks in Effingham, Ill. are teaming up to present Corvette enthusiasts with a weekend designed for experiencing all years of Corvettes to their fullest. From car shows to track events, HPDE and of course live entertainment, June 1-3, 2018 promises three full days of high-octane excitement at Motorsports Park Hastings, in Hastings, Neb.
The June event will take place at Motorsport Park Hastings, or MPH, a first-class, 2.14-mile road course. Named one of the top 10 places to speed legally by Forbes magazine, this course was designed by Alan Wilson, reviewed and approved by renowned racetrack consultant Martyn Thake from the SCAA. Corvette enthusiasts will enjoy daily track time as well as Celebrity Choice Award Judging, Seminars, On-Site Installations from a variety of the industry’s leading aftermarket parts and accessory suppliers, and of course, headlining entertainment. The event will conclude on Sunday with bracketed elimination competition racing.

The track at MPH is well designed for a unique, memorable and fun experience for all levels of driving skill. Funfest in the Midwest is designed to offer Corvette Enthusiasts an exhilarating weekend at the track! Registered guest will have the opportunity to attend MPH 101, an instructional course designed to teach them about the intricacies of the track, including braking points, curbing suggestions and more. In addition to this training HDPE (High Performance Driver Education) courses promise to take your driving skills to the next level.
Motorsport Park Hastings is a 2.14 mile long, 40’ wide road course located in Hastings, Nebraska. What started out as a dream on a napkin in a local restaurant with a few friends became a reality in 2006 when renowned track designer Alan Wilson designed this road course. Construction began in early spring and by the fall of 2006, most of the asphalt had been laid. Boasting 13 turns as well as 3 long straight-a-ways that allow drivers to hit speeds well over 100 MPH, while providing a safe environment with long run-off areas.
