FOLLOWED BY
FIRST ON THE AGENDA: Season's 52: This restaurant is part of the very successful DARDEN chain which includes Bahama Breeze, Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse, Eddie V's Prime Seafood (very expensive), Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, and the Capital Grill. Season's 52 is a truly unique dining experience in that their menu changes EVERY WEEK (thus the name "52") so, you never know what may be on the menu THIS WEEK - BUT - I can assure you, whatever you do order will be sumptuous, unique, fresh, and a meal you'll thoroughly enjoy.

Then, once you've satisfied your palate, you can partake of the wondrous creations of Louis Comfort Tiffany at the MORSE MUSEUM OF American Art in Winter Park, a short drive from the restaurant. I'm sure you've all seen or heard about "Tiffany Lamp Shades". Louis Comfort Tiffany was an American artist and designer who worked in the decorative arts and is best known for his work in stained glass. He is the American artist most associated with the Art Nouveau and Aesthetic movements. Among the most fascinating objects in the Museum’s Tiffany collection are the brilliantly colored windows, mosaics, marble, jewels, glass, stone, and furnishings that make up the chapel interior Tiffany created for the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago It was Tiffany’s work at this exposition, and most especially the chapel, that clearly established him internationally as one of the leading artists/designers of his era. Museum entrance is $5.00 60+. $6.00 adults.
The Museum’s Tiffany collection also includes a large number of pieces originally housed at Tiffany’s Long Island country estate, Laurelton Hall. Handpicked by Tiffany to be displayed there, this important group distinguishes the Morse’s collection from any other. The Laurelton Hall materials include the artist’s most prized paintings, art glass, pottery, and furniture as well as windows, lamps, and other objects that made their debut at international expositions and later adorned his home.
