21st Annual "VETTES on the AVENUE" Melbourne
About this event
This is a special invitation to all club members to attend a weekend gathering of Corvettes in Melbourne Florida and enjoyed the time to get to know other Village Vettes members, to meet members of other Corvette clubs and to see a lot of fabulous Corvettes. Last year's event attracted approximately 225 Corvettes from around Florida!
This all-Corvette gathering is held on beautiful New Haven Avenue, the tree-lined street of Historic Downtown Melbourne Florida, famous for its shops and restaurants. We will depart from Eisenhower Recreation Center Friday afternoon, enjoy a superb dinner Friday evening at a restaurant "To Be Determined", attend the car show Saturday and return home at the conclusion of the show. At your option, however, you may wish to spend Saturday night at the hotel and return home Sunday following, for example, a leisurely breakfast and shopping at close-by at Ron Jon's in Cocoa Beach, etc.
It's not necessary to own a “show car” and you don't have to spend hours preparing your Vette to attend this event! Close to 70% of the cars attending this gathering are "factory stock". REGISTRATION: To register for this car show (1) Sign up on the web page for this event. (2) Click on the green button on the event page to obtain a copy of the Event Flyer and Registration Form. Print the document, complete the registration form and mail together with your check to the address shown on the form.
HOTEL RESERVATIONS: Hilton Melbourne, 200 Rialto Place, Melbourne, FL 32901 321-768-0200. We will be staying Friday night. In order to secure a room at the $TBD price you should make your reservation as soon as possible.
DINNER PLANNING All participants will be contacted 3 to 4 weeks in advance of the show to determine who and how many will be dining Friday night between 6:00 and 7:00PM. The name of the restaurant will be communicated once it has been selected.
