Travel with other club members down to the Florida Keys over the Seven Mile Bridge to Key West. We will leave Eisenhower Recreation Center on Sunday, October 6th at 9:00 AM for a four-day trip.

Day one will have us driving approximately 6 hours on secondary roads (no turnpike or route 95) to our hotel prior to the Keys. There we will partake in a pizza party where we can mingle with other members.

Day two will have us travelling the remaining 3 - 3.5 hours to our final destination. You may want to go downtown this evening for dinner and sightseeing.

Day three is at your leisure to explore all that Key West has to offer. Some of the main attractions include The Little White House, Sails to Rails Museum, and the Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum. You might also want to take the Conch Train Tour. Of course, you must make the obligatory stop at Sloppy Joe's or the Hog's Breath Saloon. Don't forget to visit Mallory Square for the Sunset Celebration where street performances can be viewed.

Day four has us individually travelling back home. You can drive part way or straight back at your discretion.

Their are a total of 15 double occupancy rooms reserved at our first stop in Miami. When registering for this event you will be charged $140.26 which includes the first night hotel in Miami and a pizza party. You will notice when you register on our website it will only allow you to register yourself. that is because it is assumed you are bringing one guest or staying alone in your room. The website counts rooms not total participants.

YOU NEED TO BOOK YOUR OWN REGISTRATION FOR THE HOTEL IN KEY WEST AT A NIGHTLY COST OF $212.62 (SEE GREEN BUTTON LINK ABOVE) This rate includes shuttle service to Old Town and Breakfast. Advise the hotel you are with the Village Vettes Corvette Club to get the negotiated rate. If you plan on breaking your return trip into 2 days you will need to make hotel reservations at your planned stopping point.

WARNING: October is still hurricane season in Florida. As such, you may want to consider Trip Cancellation Insurance.
