About this event
FLAG RETRIEVAL
TO: ALL VILLAGE VETTES MEMBERS attending Phase 2 of The Flags for Fallen Veterans
WHEN: Saturday, May 31st
WHO: We are registered as Village Vettes Corvette Club. We will travel as a club unit and enter the cemetery together.
WHERE: We service sections 429-445.

WHEN: Removal Day Scheduled start time is 8:00 AM from Colony Rec Center.
HOW:
Please bring an old towel or rag to wipe down the flag staffs before bundling.
1.
Upon collecting flags segregate any flags with broken staffs
2.
Bundle the flags in bundles of twenty.
3.
With a rubber band wrap the top of the flag bundle TWICE
4.
With a second rubber band, wrap the staff end three times
5.
Place the completed bundles into the totes provided

Our Club, THE VILLAGE VETTES, will be removing flags at the FLORIDA NATIONAL CEMETERY located in Bushnell, FL. It's a great opportunity for vets, non-vets, and those that just want to pay homage to our fallen vets who fought for the freedoms we now enjoy.
