I'not aware of any way to enable the backup camera while going forward. I'm sure it's a software setting and not a mechanical switch so you're probably better off not knowing. You might post something on CORVETTEFORUM.com and see what pops up.

As I take my car to the track does any one know someone that can add a switch so I could have the rear camera on during the track meet?
