Information: The C5 was introduced in 1997 and ended with the 2004 model year. It is the fifth generation of Chevrolet Corvettes built and marketed by Chevrolet. The C5 was a radical change from the previous generation. The car now had a hydroformed box frame, the transmission was moved to the rear of the car to form an integrated rear-mounted transaxle assembly and is connected to the engine via a torque tube. The 4L60E automatic transmission carried on, but the manual was replaced by the Borg-Warner T-56. Gone were the squeaks and rattles of the C4, and in replacement was an incredibly strong frame that would last for at least two more generations. The new C5 was better in every aspect than the C4 it replaced.

Information: The Corvette was 25 years old in 1978 and the celebration was on. All 1978s featured a commemorative badge (right) on the front nose. A special two tone paint scheme consisting of dark silver on the lower body and light silver above separated by a dark silver stripe was offered. The production quantity was not limited and 15,283 were sold.  1978 was a year of significant changes to the C3 Corvette. A new "fastback" design which made for a smoother silhouette and answered criticisms of limited luggage space; owners now had storage similar to the mid-years Corvette coupes. Also like the mid-years coupes, access to the area was through the seats and inconvenient. A hatchback opening would be available in 1982. A retractable cover provided sun protection and security. One drawback to the new design was that the interior would heat up on sunny days, placing increased demands on the air conditioning.  This Vette had been storage (a private collection) for the past 25 years.  The current owner spent over $4,000 bringing the car back to life.  The odometer reading is correct at 10,600.  The current owner is retired law enforcement (35 years) and is well aware of the issues surrounding turned back odometers on classic cars which is a felony in nearly all states.  Included in the picture is a closeup of on of one of six screws behind the clear plastic on the dash that would, no doubt, show signs of scratches has they ever been removed.

Yea, you read it right.  A FREE TIRE to anyone that may need a 225 40ZR18. 
You're probably asking yourself; "Why is he selling one tire?"

Well, despite numerous excuses and stalling tactics my wife finally forced me, against my better judgement, to:

"CLEAN OUT THE DAMN ATTIC"

Found this tire, not sure which Vette it came off of.  Not a size for my previously owned 2014 Z51 so, to be honest, I have no idea.  I do know I had a side puncture in one of the tires of one of my previously owned Vettes and had to replace BOTH tires leaving me with one used one which I now am offering to a good home.
